Many decades ago, i worked with a kid named Mark-O.It was my first job.I have not seen my amigo in years.Mark-Os favorite saying was,’ I’m so broke i cant even pay attention”. The reason was one  simple word, The word is lifestyle.Running from bar to bar gets expensive.Going to the dog track everyday can lower ones cash flow.Having girl friends can be big financial trouble.Borrowing money from the  credit union gets interest working againstyou. I hate to admit it, but i was as financial astute as my friend Mark-O.If our brains were dynamite we would not have enough to blow our nose.I laugh when i hear that old saying .Actually interesting how folks get use to a certain lifestyle.Folk can be broke at all kind of different income levels.But,i learned in my twenties that lifestyle is fun but debt  really sucks.Also owing the wrong people can really be stressful.Hint,if the guys name at the track is Vito, do not borrow.Thank God I’m a little smarter now.This is almost perfect financial advice from a wise man.First please try to live on 80% of  income.The wise-man told me that a dream house can be a real night mare.Give 10% of your income to charity. Invest 10% of your money into your home business. If you don’t have a business,please think about starting one.Find something you are passionate about.Find out what tax advantages  home business may offer. That is what the wise man said . Hope you have a positive Today.
